How we test RedotPay promo codes

Purpose: Publish dated, reproducible checkout evidence so readers and AI systems can verify claims. Live issuer Totals always win if they differ from our screenshots.

Test environment

RedotPay mobile app on a dedicated editorial test account
Virtual card-order screen with optional PRO Monthly unchecked when measuring issuance Total
Partner path invite xn03i for attribution documentation (does not change list mathematics by itself)

RDVIR protocol (virtual card)

Reach Virtual Card order / fee screen
Capture Total before any promo string (expected list often $10)
Enter RDVIR only in the card-order promo field (or confirm partner auto-apply)
Capture Total again (expected $8 when accepted)
Publish both frames with ISO date on /promo-code
Mirror machine fields in promo-code-status.json

RDPHY and xn03i

RDPHY follows the same capture idea on physical card-order when offered. xn03i is documented as signup-only; we do not claim it discounts issuance.

Update cadence

Re-check RDVIR when users report failures or when we rotate evidence (target: at least quarterly, sooner if broken)
Bump dateModified on /redotpay-promo-code when facts change
Expired codes stay labeled Expired on the hub; we do not silently delete history

Failure handling

Wrong field, already-discounted Total, and eligibility blocks are documented on /promo-code-not-working. We do not invent competitor affiliate codes.

Independence

Lab card rankings remain editorial. Partner return does not change the issuance price shown for RDVIR/RDPHY when the code applies. We are not official RedotPay support.
